So I thought - if I can make a light painting as light as it needs to be (see previous posts), can I do the same with a dark painting? And this is how I came to tackle these glowing yellow apples. I'm happy with them. I especially like the little bit of teal at the bottom right. This is the kind of thing that just happens. I can sometimes spend an hour fiddling with a still life and never get a nice moment like this, and sometimes, like today, it just happens and I go with it. It's magic, and so far I haven't figured out how to make it happen every day.
